Statement of Ethics

I believe in conducting myself honestly, transparently and responsibly in everything I do. To this end below you can find the principles that guide the work I show, and how I produce that work. If you have any questions or want to contact me don’t hesitate to reach out to me via smallwhenfar@proton.me.

  • I commit to treating the people in my photos with the same respect and dignity that I would expect for myself and those I care about,
  • I commit to creating and sharing work with the intent of having a positive impact on the world through my photographs,
  • I honour requests from anyone featured in an image to remove that image from spaces under my control. An exception to this rule are images featured on my blog, but I will still review these requests and make a decision on a case by case basis,
  • I commit to reducing the impact of my work on the environment,
  • I commit to reflect on my unconscious biases, and the impact of my privileges on my work,
  • I acknowledge that while I will always do my best on the above, that I will always have opportunities to continue to learn and grow and I will be active, not passive, in that process.
